^^^ can't agree Bio...thought Russell rode him the same way in Punchestown last yr...looked like he wasn't even trying with 2 to go and looked in no panic...think Russell underestimated the field tbh.... price nothing to do with it, don't forget he's a horse well capable of that 1m bonus....

Given the line up this was the big disapointment of the day for me. Was looking forward to a few questions being answered, but all we found out was that Go Native is the best hurdler around over 4furlongs

Today's race was a carbon copy of Punchestown - Solwhit won at Punchestown beause he was the fittest horse in the race. He was found out on a level playing field today. Go Native looks a good thing now for Kempton on Dec 26!

dont underestimate go native hes a serious horse given goodish ground. just cant handle it soft. wasnt given the credit he deserved for supreme win when the time imo compared favourably with the champion hurdle. on that basis he was massively overpriced compared to binocular.

Tonight my children have had the choice of lobster or steak. I then gave each of them a bag of sand and put them to bed. Swings and roundabouts though- I put every penny I had on Go Native on Tuesday so my kids have been eating newspaper and dry bread since. The perils of ante post punting eh?

i would agree that todays race was unsatisfactory in deciding who was the best horse due to the slow early pace but to suggest that any horse was not trying today 100% is a nonsense - £1m for the big triple - each horse and jock were busting everything to get there - a slow early pace but the best horse today won - if a horse is faster than you over 1 mile - start the race earlier dont cry later- go native is an underapreciated horse - i heard them in ruk saying that he won a substandard supreme despite all the horses from that race not even having run - experience teaches us that the supreme is always a very hot race and for a supreme winner to be 25/1 today wa a joke - do you not think that meade knew native was better than muirhead that solwhit beat by 4 lengths - no bet on race so pocket not talking - lastly fair play to davy condon nice price - just one thing extra - does this horse idle when a few lengths clear or does he not finish well - interested in opinions.

few mins before the off, BF place market e270k taken and 450+ taken on here. Solwhit price for C.H was 4/1. If Solwhit won Sat he be cut into 3/1 if he then went onto Kempton and won he be 6/4 for C.H "BF place market e270k taken and 450+ taken on here" Solwhit now 7/1 for C.H and could go out even further e100k bet at 6/4 = 150k profit e100k bet at 7/1 = 700k profit Work it, its all just a game. |
