Had the guitar out again on MOTD this morning.
We need this lad in the team. A footballer. |

Not a bad singer :D
His performances for Sunderland recently have been top class too. |

Potentially Irelands best player of his type since Brady.
Trap and himself need to bury the axe. |

In light of Ireland's performance in Paris, I don't think the inclusion of Andy Reid would have made any difference. He is a professional footballer not a song and dance performer. There is no room for indicipline on any team. We got along very well without David O ' Leary when he was sent into exile and it will be no different in the case of Andy Reid.

very talented footballer, should be in the squad at least
always has a good rebel band on, in his dublin pub after old firm games, which is much appreciated. |

He wont make any difference to the result now. Going forward I mean.

Of course we could do with him.
Just look at the two games vs France... At home - we played a long ball game, hence no passing. This resulted in us giving away hard fought possession easily all game long. France didn't have to work hard to get the ball back, had easy possession, and didn't have to chase the ball. We did. Away game - we actually played football, passed the ball, which meant we kept possession, made France work for the ball. Can't believe this took 10-12 games to figure out! Its hardly rocket science! |

Very true downallstar. It's amazing how many goals teams score with the ball.
Hope the lessons are learned and understood by Trap although at this stage of his career I have my doubts. |
