Ran probably his best race yet. Looks a genunine top class staying chaser in the making. All credit to Hourigan for keeping the horse a novice for this season whether by accident or not

I actually recall T** of all people saying he was a future for that race before Chelt 2 years ago!!! Was at a chelt preview and he'd been over with MH! |

Love to know what the real story with Hourigan and the Horse. I know many think Hourigan couldnt train ivy up a wall but he was a decent trainer once and anyway no one could get any horse so badly wrong unless it was on purpose. There was a thread on it here

Can't agree with you Jimeen. Tom Doyle is too lightweight imo. Anytime I back him my heart is in my mouth. Just checked my records and I see the last time I backed him he was on Ballymac Beauty (2/1f) at Fairyhouse and out the door he came.
