when sending a copy of a bank statement to verify an account is it safe to send the full statement or should you block out parts of it and if so which parts i.e. how much of the statement do they need to see for it to be accepted??im on about moneybookers by the way

Most fraud originates in an individual accessing your details and that could be anyone, someone in a shop swiping your card, someone stealing your mail, an office cleaner finding statements etc, and it is of course possible that an individual getting your statement legitimately could use it to steal from you but thankfully there seems to very little of that here on the part of employees who are trusted with such information. It all comes down to trust and in this case you can be pretty certain of the security.

does any1 know how long it will take for them to let use my account again once ive sent them the fax?ive heard they are not great when it comes to customer service

For me I was able to use it within hours. My girlfriend, 4 days! It really is hit and miss. I found by pdfing and emailing it to them you get a quicker response than fax.

i had trouble tryin to email it so i had to fax it,sure il just have to wait and see,tanx for the help lads.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and can confirm deposits via Moneybookers are now being processed successfully.

If you deposited money into your Betfair account using Moneybookers between 10:00 to 15:00 GMT the funds will have been returned to your Moneybookers account. If you made a deposit between 15:00 to 18:00 GMT the funds will be returned to your Moneybookers account tomorrow 27th November.
