No mention of the 'hand of frog' but just about who will realistically be in our next 22. I reckon there could be a few retirements.

Kilbane - said as much after the game. Limited player but gave his all.
Duff - Just have a funny feeling he might call it day.

I think wednesday night may delay a few retirements. No player would want to end it on such a note.

Yes agreed very poor on Wednesday night was Duff. Give McGeady a chance to fall over for the full 90 minutes.

How Kevin Kilbane is one of Irelands most capped player is beyond me. Yes, he will work hard for you but the guy has been very limited.

I cant see anybody from Wed night retiring to be honest. 'Killer' will prob drag it out for another year. Duff wont - still has something to give imo.

My favourite Giles quote about Kibane is "He's a game lad, but the reality of it is - he's useless"

Of more interest than the retirements is how many of the former England u21's will declare for Ireland.
Apparently, Anton Ferdinand, Jamie O'Hara, Mark Noble & Kevin Nolan can all now declare for Ireland.
With Trap's Ireland doing so well last Wed night & almost getting us to the WC finals these guys might be tempted.

Kilbane may be a little limited but he has been solid over the years,he might hang on for one last campaign, anyway whats 2 years, would be surprised if Duff retired,Trap has done a super job, just shows you can make a great team from a group of mostly average players...
