This title is tainted just as much as Frances' win last night. More so IMO,
as our game is amateur, and sportsmanship is more or less expected within
the limits of manliness if I can qoute Colm O Rourke.

If an Armagh player did what Henry Kennelly did at the throw in of the All
Ireland final, you, and your fellow Brazillians would be calling for all Ulster
teams to be banned from future competitions.
I dont hate Kerry, just the double standards that they want usl to accept.

And I admire good footballers and good play from any team Tony Mcentee was class in my opinion but please please say what you see and admire a great Kerry team

you put up the 50/1 (what i can get online) on Armagh winning the All -Ireland next year (Note there is no market up at present) and i'll take that bet for £500 sterling or if you can match more than that thats fine......

i know we are long odds and you can laugh- but laugh at your own expense if you want to lay it down

ROADIE....This side has run me with their Premiun Charges so I'm now doing most of my betting on the other side unless my profit ratio disimproves to keep the pc boys happy.

So the problem is now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place with my funds. I have a few bets up on the GAA over the other side but until I fill something on the better fancy ones I don't want to tie up my money till June ;) as its too much to have tied up in a market that might not take off over there

But keep me in mind come late January after the American football finishes and I might be able to take £200 off you not worth tieing up £25,000 on it in January even if its free money. Or my pc situation here might come improve

ps.Tyrone 7/2 pods 9/4 or Kilkenny 11/10 spoils 5/6 seems good prices over their but little interest.

oh and not not being a big mouth in saying all this...... just feel there is value there and would happily match others at these odds too...............................

Roadie....Are you on McIlroy for the Order of Merit 33/1 he was. Though its touch and go at the moment.

As for Armagh backline I think its the forwards scoring rate which has held you back. I might** you off now and again but that flippant Ulster final two years back those Two games against Fermanagh was AWFUL and really showed their lack of spark up front.

There are a few you miss on here from the past. There use to be a decent guy who liked the GAA on here from Roscommon ASHLEIGHMAN was it and where's MALTA gone. Is he still washing dishing for a certain female bookie down in Tipperary. :^0 T

Ashleigh I think got got harrassed on here by the usual bunch of morons after giving a losing tip and stopped posting. Mind you they could be here still under a different name.

But I suppose I'm guilty to for part of the demise. I didn't do the GAA previews this year like I use to. Purely because I wasn't betting the GAA games on here. Not with that premiun charge rule saying you were safe if you didn't bet on more than 250 markets over 60 weeks. It just made sense for me to avoid the GAA on here as it only for FUN I bet on that. I used to do about 20 bets a week on the league games. :(

Yeah the other side is fine they are a pleasure to deal with compared to the Betfair help desk and I was actually surprised with the actively over there. No problem getting matched once you stick to market odds its bailing out on your losing bets where its a bit of a struggle.

But defintely its GAA is better than a lot of its other markets. If they don't tweek the pc before the start of the Championship I defintely will give it a bigger go over there next season.

Going back to your advice on Armagh I actually do have a eye on them I have a few quid up on them over there at 33/1 only. But thats really because you don't want to lay the long shots at the moment as then your money is tied up for yonks. Unless you can lay a few of the shorts ones you don't fancy its pointless laying the outsiders like Armagh you might want to take on. At the moment I can still pull any cash tied up out of that market if I see something better to put it on.

Looking forward now anyway to January and the start of the league. I actually unlike some really like it. The uncertainly and ups and down of the season appeal to me. Saying that off hand don't ask me now who is in Div2.

ROADIE....Everyone is effected by this PC not just the payers. While its not in your face like mine is. Your still getting hit indirectly because whatever way you look at it. The fact is if I give you 50/1 Armagh on here say on a £100 I couldl have to pay £23 on that commission now.

So at the risk of losing 5k all I get is £77 of that £100 quid thats about 66/1 I be given. At 66/1 Armagh sure even I would give that a look.

No point hanging around if you have to offer those type of odds to lay a bet. There's loads of guys like me in that situation so all that happens then is you remove a layer of competition which in turn leads to shorter prices been offered and it doesn't matter if its the layers in decline or a punters its the same result less competition can only mean one thing lower prices.

Probably the only reason I'm now in it is really Kerry. I won a fortune on them in the last 6 years and actaully missed the bullet last year when Tyrone won after sticking a few quid on them in June at 28/1 as a saviour.

Which makes the pc all the more ridiculous since every punter gets on a good run sometime in his life. But once you get caught for the pc and your winning bet was out of portion to what your regular bet is it near impossible to get out of it unless you go through a equally bad losing run. Its madness.

Yeah the other side would probably suit you better alright as like I said there few traders so a layer doesn't have to worry about competing against himself. Here if somebody puts up a bet looking to back Dublin at 11/1 for example and your already offering 9/1 if you go out to meet the bet because there is so many traders on here all you will do is compete with yourself.

Beacuse as soon as it matched that trader will put it back in at 10/1 and take any punter you were hoping to match at the market rate of 9/1 and giving the trader a quick guarnteed profit.

So you just don't bother chasing those bets on the popular teams, even if you don't fancy the them.

On the other side you can either take it or don't take it you don't have to worry about giving some trader a guarnteed profit. Which puts somebody like you in a better situation for getting a bet matched as Armagh is also one of those teams traders in GAA like to target for quick trades...

I don't know if you will follow any of that. :^0 don't worry about it.
