Don't know mate but live about 2 miles from the course. I would be amazed if it does, The sun's out now but we've had 2/3 hours of more rain already today with more forecast later and I haven't mentioned the rain we've had this last week yet!!

Good news. No word of an inspection anyway. Good luck with your's EMI though I think I'll chance Treacle to uphold the Limerick form. Not sure the weight trend will be continued this year with all the class looking to be at the top of the handicap.

bella mana mou anyone?
By:
yeah, Treacle should have a big chance pros and on the face of it should be shorter than our lad. I'd prefer OH above any other though to carry biggish weights on bad ground.

By:
Yeah, I'll be chancing a few quid on Florida as well. Will want to jump a good bit better than at Thurles LTO and the form hasn't worked out but at 20s you can take a chance as he should come on from it and has some excellent 3m form from last year.

Operation Houdini will try to improve on his second place 12 months ago when he lines up for Sunday's Troytown Handicap Chase at Navan.
The seven-year-old, trained by Davy Fitzgerald, found Notre Pere a length too good in the three-mile contest last November. That horse went on to land the Coral Welsh National for his trainer Jim Dreaper and Fitzgerald has next month's Chepstow marathon in mind for the Saddlers' Hall gelding. "We're looking forward to it. He won over hurdles last time, as was expected. He had no weight on his back," said the County Limerick handler. "He's got plenty of weight, but he was unlucky last year. He ran a cracker and hopefully he will go one better, but it won't be easy. There's no place to hide, so we have to take our chance. "He's fit and well and the next time you'll see him will be in the Welsh National, hopefully." |
