Impressionist Art had Senor Tommie/Moon Luck behind last time (the reserve Philosophers Guest behind too) when finishing second at the track over 1m 2 1/2f- drops down to 1m here but was a good second over 7f at the Curragh 2 runs ago! Lookin at the 2 he finished in front of the last day, i would be surprised if any of the 2 reversed form- drawn in stall 2 + 4 last time they are drawn wide in 14 + 11 tomorrow night! |

was having a look at willyconker again drawn 11 lto
didnt settle great early and had to run wide all round lto winner over cd would prefer to take 9/2 e/w about him defying 6ld rise than getting involved in an underpriced major iron at 2/1 ish one set is a well exposed sort and this is over 7 which may suit but well have to see it forst today willyconler is drawn 1 and garry carrolls up again impressionast are is very short and in a big field is likley to find one well handicapped or on its night again imho gl |

BJG is this your big one for tonight? need a winner...went through the race and its trapy. Have it town to 3 - Spring Hawk, Senior Tommie and Impressionist Art....i also noted that if there was money for Bikerstan i would be interested, had decent Lingfield form - he's 20's into 7's !!!

Maybe a more open contest than the betting may suggest- the one im willin to take a chance on e/w is Qadar at around the 14/1 mark- the drop down from 1m to 6f a big plus imo- was 4th over 6f at Cork 2 runs ago wen gettin checked up late in the race! 2 runs b4 that, once again over 6f, won easily over 6f on the beach at Laytown- good e/w chance imo 7.00 Iron Major definitely the one to beat here after he was just touched off last time over 6f- stayed on strongly that time so the step up to 7 here, likely to suit. Smoky Cloud a little overpriced in this at 7/1 though imo and will do e/w for me- won a Leopardstown nursery well in Oct over 7f and was a well beaten 4th last time, but that was on hvy ground so that run can prob be ignored, e/w for me 7.30 If Shirly Blake had a better draw it would be banker material imo- as it is still has the best form in the book, ran well fto wen a close up3rd- improved on that last time wen just gettin run out of it late on over 1m here- drops down to 7f a plus- can hopefully get a nice position from the wide draw and should prove tough to beat 8.00 Excellerate the standout here but at odds on i wont be playing- 4th last time out just over 2l behind Poet(a G3 winner and runner up since) with Michael Bells Four Winds in 2nd- really is very strong form in the context of this race and looks his to lose 8.30 Impressionist Art had Senor Tommie/Moon Luck behind last time (the reserve Philosophers Guest behind too) when finishing second at the track over 1m 2 1/2f- drops down to 1m here but was a good second over 7f at the Curragh 2 runs ago! Lookin at the 2 he finished in front of the last day, i would be surprised if any of the 2 reversed form- drawn in stall 2 + 4 last time they are drawn wide in 14 + 11 tomorrow night 9.00 Dirar @ 12/1 here seems a big price, 13th of 36 in the Eng Ceasrawitch last time- came there to challenge but didnt stay the trip- drops 2 pounds here! Before that was 2nd behind Fingers at Listowel with Zaralabad (3rd in the Irish Ces nto) behind in 3rd- live e/w chance in an open race 9.25 Space Race and Inis Ceithleann cross paths here again after finishing 1st and 2nd last week but both have wide draws to contend with here! Big turn in the weights here and would expect Johnny Murtaghs mount to reverse the placings here and seems a fair price at 6/1 to do so! Been a few bob around today for Night Spark but would take a leap of faith to back it imo at around 5/1 no value |

Apologies Tommy for tipping your two!!
I lbacked and laid a few earlier in the day. The only race I wasn't taken in was the 8 30. So put up a few again to back or lay in this race. I had to go 8 on this Bickersten but hope that will be taken as I hope the value is long gone. The only rick I spotted imo was Gwens Spirit at 16/1. (Oddschecker 7/1) It was tipped by Alan Sweetman so had to take a little of that. |

Good tipping there BJG. You go into the form in good depth. I like to lay more than back when I am off course. Never 10/1 or more unless there is an arb.
On track, I back all the way. |

Shirley Blake is a good thing regardless of the draw. Get on 9/4 with PP and Jessie james.
|
|
By:
Just need a few winners outa it now soapp ;)
Contemplatin whether to play the PP or nt, prob wont be a whole lot in the pool though is de problem! |
|
By:
I will give it a miss till the week-end.
I was talking to someone in Punchestown last Saturday. He got the PP for 4. He only put 32 into it and collected over 3000. In the first leg the result was 10/1 20/1 20/1. He got in on the 3rd Palusiere's first timer over hurdles. The rest of the results were very easy. Mostly odds on shots. A nice haul!! |

I thought smullen lost it in the 1st seemed quite happy to lay last early, had a lot to do though almost made it
I fancied six of hearts but trainer hasnt had a winner on the flat in some time Same remmark applies to impressionist art Ger lyons is the inform man so shirley blake must be top of a shortlist but drawn 14 is difficult, the bet could be oh sweet mystery 7.30, drawn well and has the master of dundalk on board frank berry |
|
By:
Aargh, nearly ;)
Smashin ride from Gary Carroll on the winner again though |

BJG look at my analysis of the 8.30, had two out of 3, never realised berry got in on a resrve when i studied it. I aviod races he's in, he'll either beat me into second or be crap when i back him :-(

By:
Nice stroke by Noel Meade imo.
Hopes Reserve 1 and 2 won't run so that he can get in the 3rd reserve and and take out the top weight. And gets a top jockey to boot!! Also this was done at the last minute when no doubt he could have pulled the top weight out a lot earlier!! Just surmising |

Is there any bookies that pay out if a reserve goes in after ur bet was placed and wins ?:|
