He is useless though, i would have left Lawrence on at least he knws what he is doing.

Lawrence was even better last night than saturday but on saturdays performance alone, those who argued McGeady shouldve started last night don't know their football. McGeady takes "hit and miss" to a new level (where theres mainly misses) while Lawrence is the perfect type player for this Irish team.

mcgeady would be better employed behind the striker which wont happen unless keane is injured as keane plays too deep

mcgeady can run and beat players and has a lethal through ball

but hes rubbish out deep on the wing alright and pish at high crosses- why he took it i dont know- that would of been a perfect time for andy reid

mcgeady has not played well in an ireland shirt though and must wish he opted for scotland

poor fella- he is better than that but doesnt suit traps system
