Where's all the publicity now?

Pocketed a forrtune on the Rugby draw.
(with your oh so generous 4/5, Evens, 16s book)

Cricket 20/10 on Friday ended in a Duckworth Lewis victory for the outsider.

Bookies carry on reached an all time low last night with Paddies putting up a thread here trying to Hedge (more of an arb trade if you ask me) on the scorecast for the World Cup game.
I'm amazed not more people picked up on it. It was shameful.
Even Marmion wouldn't have done it in my view and that is saying something

I held fire on that because I thought it might be a windup.

If it was genuine, do they really think we have 1000s in our bank ready to be mobilised to mop up specials at rubbish odds so they can balance their books?

It was a vile contribution to this otherwise honest, entertaining and cherished forum. Needed pulling imo. They are a pretty friendless crowd anyway with any of us on here ......we knew ;)

Lads,

First a little background here - this guy has been tipping up selections with us at Paddy Power for a while and when he does we end up with serious liabilities regardless of price - this as you can imagine is a huge event here.

We are sitting on 7 figure liabilities here and still laying it every minute. We have drained all possible hedging resources with traditional bookmakers. We have put up €2k @ 40 to lay here in the Scorecast market to try and get rid of some more - this is as good a lay as there is lads - it's much bigger all over the industry but we simply can't get anymore on!

If the €2k is taken it will put back up immediately so there will be plenty for everyone!

Thanks,

Paddy Power

Lads obviously haven't taken what we have mate - it's up there if you want it - we are laying it at every price out there to be honest

I offered them 2/1 on £50 or evens on a £100

With a money back on a 10-10 draw and Trap coming off the bench and scoring the last goal........

But it wasn't taken up. :(

Laddies told me they took a lot of money on Australia.

Easy for the settlers on the match.

I don't care if they hedge on here, that's a traders job.

But asking punters like ourselves to mop up giving them a guaranteed profit off mugs without actually giving us decent value into the bargain is galling.

Stick the money up at a fair price and/or shut up.
