I know what to expect from Best. He did what I expected. Big strong lad who can hold up the ball.

He was only on for 10 minutes. What about Keane, Lawrence, Duff, Best, etc??

McGeady has proven himself to be a waste of space in every one of his appearances in an Irish shirt. He is worse than useless. My heart sank when I saw him coming on. Can't pass or shoot.

Nobody ever seems to mention Kevin Doyle when talking about poor Irish performers and Dunphy has actually called him world class.I think he is very average and all he seems to do is give away free kicks.

Doyle did well. Caused them a lot of problems in the air. a decent player. I'd have been disgusted at being taken off if I was him when Keane was having a nightmare.

Must admit i was disappointed in Ireland but France are quite simply a lot better in my opinion.

Fair play to the guy on the Hub just now with Daire O Brien stuk the knife into Robbie Keane. One meaningful goa in 7 years. I'm not saying Keane is not worth his palce but he should be hauled off at h/t if he is not effective
