What a race! :D

Paddy, Trafford Lad, Joncol, Made in Taipan and Tranquil Sea all line up.

Will be an interesting race for sure, although its most likely to be used as a stepping stone for some of these.

downallstar, why do i get the feeling you'll be making your way to naas tomorrow :)
Report downallstar October 30, 2009 11:28 AM GMT
Def be going tomorrow. ;)

River Lianne runs in the Beg Chase also, nice double for the yard?

How fit and ready is Traff, Swin? Ta.
Report Swinia October 30, 2009 11:31 AM GMT
not fully wound up...just a prep for the Hennessey... if ground is sticky and test of stamina he has his chance otherwise 2 mile is a little short for him... i'd be looking at Made In Tiapan for this, i think 4paddy struggles in small fields

Yeah, am having doubts over forpady already :^0
Depends on how much rain falls.
Need a proper look.

Slippers riding Forpady?
Report Barry Sterling October 30, 2009 11:37 AM GMT
Questionable tissue there Swinia. Betting to the guts of 180% in a 9 runner grade3 with four no hopers is ambitious.
Report Frank The Tank October 30, 2009 11:41 AM GMT
Swinia you should apply to the Rp with those overrounds
Report downallstar October 30, 2009 11:42 AM GMT
If the ground cuts up Joncol, if not Forpady.
Report BJG October 30, 2009 11:49 AM GMT
Reaaly like Joncol :|
Report Academic Rambler October 30, 2009 11:53 AM GMT
Joncol here also, not short of pace, had a spin already, ground looks ideal.

traff prepping, forpady better in big fields/stronger pace, tranquil has Q's to answer esp on soft, MIT is honest and will have a crack, query on class tho.
Report Barry Sterling October 30, 2009 11:58 AM GMT
Where did Joncol have his spin? And does he not need a lot further?

Its clearing north fairly fast now the rain.

FPTP to be pulled out if too much rain.

PN said trip too short for Joncol but he just needs an outing before he tackles the big races to straighten him out. I remember collecting on him in Naas earlier in the year at 1/3 and my heart in my mouth as he seemed to be labouring mid way before powering clear in the straight.
Report Swinia October 30, 2009 4:48 PM GMT
if joncol wins this i'll run around the track 2moro naked
Report Frank The Tank October 30, 2009 4:49 PM GMT
Why would you only make him 11/4 then?
Report Swinia October 30, 2009 5:14 PM GMT
he's the 2nd highest rated....
Report Frank The Tank October 30, 2009 5:24 PM GMT
Surely minor things like official ratings don't matter if he has no chance. Anyhow think you can afford to push a few out from your opening chalk.
Report Distant View October 30, 2009 5:34 PM GMT
Good stuff Swinia,

You will run around the track naked if an 11/4 shot on your tissue wins!
Report ChildOfMine2 October 30, 2009 5:37 PM GMT
Still lashing in Naas. I like Tranquil Sea in the race, hit the bar a couple of times last season and could have a good campaign. O'Grady's horses are running well too!

Naas never looked after the pensioners on Saturday or the people who pay hard cash up front for Annual badges.

Adults €15 in. Free food or drink voucher for a fiver. Also a free €5 bet with the bookies.

Pensioners €10 in. No concessions.

Next meeting I advise pensioners to go in the Adults gate and save yourselves a fiver!!

This lad Lar Butler who looks after Trafford Lad has many years expierence as Dusty Sheehy's head lad.
