If you want to help European prosper and grow the best thing you could do now is tell your footballers to lose both on Saturday and Sunday.
Getting Ireland into the World Cup would most likely create a mini-spending boom in our fair island to get us out of recession. Considering the likely burden that Ireland will place on the EU in the short to medium term due to the finanical difficulties and how the bad money will circulate around Europe its best just to take one for the team.
Also the fact you champion integration with Africa the travelling Irish party would be greater than Frances and more likely to inject more income into SA's economy. Thereby having a more positive impact on the global economy than a couple of hundred beret boys who couldn't even sell out Le Stade.
So Nicky, do the world a favour and have a quick word with the players. Don't tell Domenach because everything he tells the players they do the opposite.
