Norn, the only winner I had at Limerick was the last! Navan was better for me. It took me all day backing horses to win the money I put on India in the one day international. I used have a rule never back against australia in the cricket.

McMahon rode the winner of that race last year too. Cailin, the lady jockeys competition comprised the first 12 horses for which a draw was made to see who was to ride each horse. Horse No 13, Andrew McNamara's horse was not in the competition so he was free to choose any lady rider. Pity I didn't realise this as I backed the best jockey Ms A Foley at 33/1 on Horse Guard for small money and I saw the Sharks nag being well backed at 4/1 by people in the know, so helped myself to a bit of it too. I thought Ambrose McCurtain rode his rivals silly in the last on Gortnagros who looks like she may go on to bigger and better things. Well done to those who were on. |

Yes lads, I know a little about the horse. So I said I would go for the jugular and get off the blocks sprinting!! It brought back memories of Ambrose winning on Stony Grey Soil for the same connections same track and same tactics last December!!
