All customers wishing to open a forum account must meet the following requirements:
- Customers must possess an active account which has been fully verified through Betfair's Identity Verification Process (KYC) - kyc.betfair.com/
If you meet the criteria and wish to open a Betfair Forum account, please email forum@betfair.com with your Betfair username and we’ll look into this request further for you. If we find that you do not meet all of the above requirements, you will unfortunately not be invited to join. These reasons will be communicated to you via a response to your email.
Please be advised however that any customer, whether they be new or existing, found to be in breach of the Forum and terms and conditions, will have their access revoked should we deem this necessary.
A reminder of our Forum guidelines can be found in full below.
The Betfair Forum is intended for legitimate comment, constructive discussion and the sharing of opinions on sport, gaming and other matters. We have a responsibility to try and ensure that the Community is a pleasant area for all our users to enjoy.
When you post a comment, a picture, a blog, whatever . . . remember you are responsible for it. Other users can flag anything they think is unsuitable by using the ‘report’ facility or emailing forum@betfair.com, and we will remove anything we deem inappropriate (and may take action against the user that posted it – read our Terms and Conditions for more details)
We want you to make full use of the Betfair Community, but there are some things we just can’t allow. Particularly comments we consider to be defamatory. Our Terms and Conditions explain the type of content that is not permitted – and we may take action against anyone who breaches our Terms and Conditions.
Bullying, harassment and being downright unpleasant is not what the Betfair forum is about and will not be tolerated. The Forum is not actively managed so we rely on the community to bring such matters to our attention. Anyone who feels they are on the receiving end should let us know by using our ‘report’ facility for threads and posts or by emailing forum@betfair.com.
We would also like to remind everyone that promoting of 3rd party products and services is strictly prohibited. All threads of this nature will be removed and the posters privileges removed.
Although we do take breaches of our terms and conditions seriously, we are unlikely to take any action against posts which do not breach our terms and conditions and merely amount to heated debate and/or forum banter.
