If MB want to give BF a run for their money they need to get Gruss on board. I have tinkered around with the geek toys app for MB, and its not a patch on Gruss but I am sure when you get so used to using one thing, its hard to get your head around something else.

If the current Affordability Checks don't get reigned in no one will be 'dwarfing' anyone else. They'll be tring to just keep afloat.

The future of GB racing is the big doubt. No racing,no exchanges.

what do the owners of exchanges think? Betfair is scrimping by ending this forum. Purple has been sold. Again! Hardly a vote of confidence.

Flutter owns Betfair. Their turnover is roughly:-
Sportsbook: $8 billion
Online gaming: $7 billion
Exchange: $500 million

So the exchange is about 3 per cent. Only 3 per cent. If it feels like they don't care, that might explain why.

btw Flutter figures include PP and Sky etc.

Either I've misread (well, mis-glanced at) their financial reports or they are not using turnover in that sense. Probably just their cut as they also talk about revenue.

The point is, whatever numbers they are reporting, the exchange is a mere fraction and they'd make more from charging staff 50p to use the khazi.

exchanges are normal pre..took them years to realise sharp minds and quick pics allows the chosen to snatch money late in races..they've now taken that option away.

Yes I would have thought that accountants would only be interested in income and that means the 2% commission. The rest is money moving between customers which makes them nothing (or so we think). I am continually amazed that so many people use the sportsbook despite the website defaulting them there. 10% less return on average than exchange and no way to lay bets off.
