I know this is a subject that has been covered many times on here but it's got to the point where it's a joke.

Race after race it takes forever to load, with handlers loading one runner at a time  when ther is no reason they

couldn't be loaded two at the same time. Also it infuriates me that trainers can ask for a 'ticket' so as to get their

runner loaded last. There seems to be no sequence in place and it is amazing how often favourites are loaded in last

compared to other runners. Are many of our trainers unable to train horses to enter the stalls?

Funny how the Aussies always gets their races off on time, yet we never can . We could if we really wanted to, but the authorities prefer delays and clashes . Mind you, it's even worse in the states.

Yup. totally, totally agree with the original post.

We used to have the best stalls handlers in the world but now they are poor.

Slack and slipshod with jockeys being allowed to take their mounts too far back in order to try to gain some tiny advantage.

Watch the Irish, French, Americans etc. and they whizz them in realy quick with no messing. But we allow horses to become agitated because we take so long.

I do not why this has gone the way it has, other than everyone possibly being so nervous of being accused of abuse.

Sadly, it is typical of the UK as a whole - we do not do anything properly any longer.

The other thing is when a horse gets loose. Why are track staff and stalls handlers not all issued with a roll of white cloth tape? Then, if a horse has gone walkabout or runabout, run the tape across the track from rail to rail in front and behind it, thus pennning it into a smaller part of the track. Now, though, we just let them charge around with a few stable staff waving their hands to stop them. Amazing that more horses do not sustain injuries when this happens.

The BHA are a terrible outfit who will not change, ot try anything new, unless, of course, it is something to do with 'diversity'.
