the 2nd bumped the winner turning in, then its eachy peachy
...surely stands |

Won a long short head. Plenty of tussling back and forth going back to 2f out.
Probably keeps it. 1.3 now about right. |

Haven't seen head on, swift
Looked all one way side on, on one viewing |

Head on there was plenty from both, although the bump from 1st to 2nd half a furlong out was the most significant.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference in the home-straight involving, the winner, AMAZONICA (IRE), ridden by Jason Hart and I'M THE ONE, placed second, ridden by Billy Loughnane. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of AMAZONICA (IRE) as whilst racing in very close proximity from the top of the straight, AMAZONICA (IRE) lugged left-handed approaching the half furlong marker, before being quickly corrected, nudging I’M THE ONE marginally off its intended line. Thereafter on the run to the line, I’M THE ONE lugged marginally right-handed towards AMAZONICA (IRE) carrying the gelding out slightly and giving it two light bumps which caused both runners to become briefly unbalanced. The Stewards considered that initial interference had not improved the placing of AMAZONICA (IRE) as I’M THE ONE had suffered no discernible loss of momentum as a consequence, and although the filly had been moved slightly off its racing line, the loss of ground if any, was inadequate to overcome the winning margin of a short head and always appeared to be held by AMAZONICA (IRE). Therefore, the placings remained unaltered. The interference was found to be accidental as both riders were seen to take reasonable steps throughout to avoid causing interference.
Correct decision but talking pony,if the FAV had not have been nudged last f-it would probably have won(it was def making ground again). |

Rico, no opinion offered before the result stands, then suggests it was a no brainer...
Well, plenty of people willing to lay the fptp at 1.6, yet it was so obvious to Rico, he must have cleaned right up? |
