...So far , managed to get £49.97 on at 1.49..lol................on we go.

Have laid that at 1.46 and although I agree there is not much competition etc etc, Haggas and odds on in a maiden.....YIKES.

Extragalactic looks short. A mile is a long way for 2-year-olds and imo his pedigree does not shout stamina.

...You two have spooked me now ....maybe I should take the £2.83 cash out ...

Extragalactic excellent first run,but blotted the copy book next outing behind Vegasmile when expected to win, hung under pressure then ran on,a watching brief on the horse, although most probably will win but price is poor.

Personally, I avoid horses that finished 2nd on last 2 starts regardless of anything else in case they're suffering from Seconditis Syndrome. But good luck to you.

I'd never thought of that angle, slicer. Hmm.

Some horses just don't want to go past!. AND, I wouldn't bet 3s on that I'd be getting out of bed tomorrow morning let alone on a horse race!

..Friends, I appreciate all of you joining in on this thread............as it turns out, I've only managed to get 50 quid on in total at 1.49........so there'll be no harm done either way really.
I've had a mega winning run in October, with serious bets on horses like Daryz, and Musical times, K(ight's charge and various other obliging Favs ( Skeltons included )....lots of major bets . with only two lumpy losers.........therefore I'm feeling a bit (lot) cocky, and my Betfair balance is burning a hole in my pocket. From past experience, I'm well aware that a big bump back down to Earth is always lurking, but I've promised myself to use my fat bank " sparingly".......having said that, the Demon inside of me will no doubt torture me relentlessly..... why didn't I back that one ?....why didn't I have more on that winner?. etc etc... .......I'm sure you've been there too. Sorry to ramble on, but it's nice to chat to others also involved in this mad game !! |
