Instead of restrictions, they do not let you login (claiming multiple login attempts), you contact online Customer Help, who inform you that your account must be closed, ( no option to simply change your password)
any balance returned and will be investigated by security. Obviously you never hear from them again.
latest cost cutting exercise ahead of budget
why not be open and just say we don't want your business anymore?

OP sounds odd although I do not doubt it.

Normal bookie practice is to severely restrict winners' accounts (maximum stake 91 pence, for instance) rather than to close it altogether.

This way it is better for their share price as they can boast X million active accounts, even if half of them rarely bother and another third probably died already.

So I'd wonder if OP's really is a security matter.

I asked about being able to block the casino and games (like you can on here) and the next thing my account was suspended pending a review. Enquired about it and was told there was no time frame for the review so I told them to close it, haven't heard from them since. Seems like if you dont want to play in Freds casino he doesn't want your business.

be surprised if it doesn't go 40%.  Bookies with the floor space turn into AGC's and the money that racing got goes to operators and the government.

This bookie also closed my account without any warning couple of years back.

I didn't have anything in it at the time, so didn't really care too much. But, then they moan about 'not having enough business'Laugh
