Wasn't good today - Caballo De Mar looked washed up two races back and outside the layers how many have made money off Qirat? Just as difficult tomorrow. Big puzzle as to why Amusingly (at least she looks the part) is running against the colts when she couldn't even win the trial for the Boussac. Can only assume Keane must have made a complete mess of that race. At the moment she is too short to be of any interest. The Boussac itself looks weak - Spirit Tango with a form boost perhaps a little big? Daryz should win the Arc, but most would go skint backing 2/1 shots. Given the form of the yard, fair to assume that Bay City Roller might outrun his odds. Daryz laughed at him in the trial, but that race wouldn't have suited. He does have a wide draw, but not completely out of the question that he could find a position in the first six. If something near the best of Aventure turns up then she wins, but I can't be taking the risk at that price. If she was in tip top form surely she would be in the Arc? Pink Panthera should be strong stayer at this trip, and looks the each-way bet to nothing, but how many of those get sunk?

Bit of support for Spirit Tango. Nothing for Bay City Roller. Surprised that Friendly Soul is being supported at shorter. She won an ordinary Vermeille. Amusingly has doubled in price so took that each way.

I can't see past Daryz Foyles no matter how much I have looked at the race , owes us nothing after last year so a free bet really. Had a couple of small ew before the draw but not much hope of even a place tbh , Shaddadd @ Meisho Tabaru. Could be a good day for Joseph but his favs in the first two very short so taken on with Data & Avec Toi with Shiri & Daryz making up an ew Yankee and acca and singles win and ew depending on prices. Good luck today.

good luck glen just as a possible value alternative in the 1st malikat al remal was only a neck behind data last time but data had more runs than her previously 80/1 firms could offer a bit of value ew /places not saying she will win or place but only a neck to find wi data .ive had a few francs ew win and places.also miss miniver here.

gone ew Data in first, denied a clear run lto when fav in Group2 hopefully Guyon gone for wrong one!

the french frog on ky racing
been drawn 10 of 12 isnt as bad as been drawn 10 of 16 how does that work ? be drawn 10 of a 100 your still drawn 10 wide |

unlucky glen and nec juss nutted
By:
Shame NEC, had she not swerved probably would have won?
By:
ugh crossbar with Data
![]() hopefully start of a cracking day for Joseph though ![]() |

You can be boxed or interfered with by horses on your outer so the less of them the better. Meanwhile Soumi proves yet again in the first that he is simply the best round there-drawn 10.
By:
and if you were 10 of 10,they,d complain they had no company on their outer, and could hang left etc with nothing to stop you

Glen not sure Data would have won even with swerve and slight hampering 1f out
fav looked to have a bit in hand and as comms say what does this make Sun Goddess? Stand by for another best filly we've ever had, nothing can touch her etc. ![]() |

Favourite in the next is 10 as well with Barzelona on board. Too short for me though.
By:
yeh its got the best form but at evens/odds on makes little appeal to me
Amusingly was second lto and Data just franked that form, at double figures on here appeals as an ew bet to upset fav |

WD NEC, nice price.

By:
thanks Glen, big price considering a fair bit of deadwood in race

By:
well done nec gotta be a decent filly to turn the colts over

How good is Rogue Passion who beat Amusingly and Data on trials day?
By:
Form looks sound as well Foyles give how well Data ran.
By:
Well done NEC.
She did that very nicely. Probably the best horses, but both winners have come up the centre. Racing Post haven't got the result up of the first yet!! And they think they can charge. Terrible. |
By:
Rogue Passion is obviously very good but both the second (Amusingly) and third (Data)
very denied clear runs that day and it wouldnt be a given that RP would confirm that form Amusingly was very impressive jockey hardly moved til last half furlong |
By:
That was nice after what happened in the first race. backed it at 9/1 & 10/1 - Bet 365 didn't want it. Also backed it at 14/1 for the Pouliches. Surely she is worth a shot as she can drop back in trip if it doesn't work? She pretty much laughed at an easy National winner.

Going for the commonweath next YEAR
![]() |
By:
Maybe that's why she is 8/1, rather than much shorter. That would be a big call to avoid a Classic. Isn't there about 5/6 weeks between the two? Today was 7 and she wasn't stopping at the end. Time will tell.

Corolla Point ew in Abbeye formline though Toca Madero suggests nothing between him and Nanas Shadow
so at current odds he has to be the play for me in an open race lacking a star sprinter gl chaps ![]() |
By:
This will be amazing for Katie Scott. Best of luck to her.
Had a few pennies e/w on stalls 1,2 & 3 Well done DD |
By:
8,4,5 in Abbeye
Corolla Point ran ok but never really involved draw no good for Nanas Shadow well done Jack nice grp1 and payday! |
By:
first line was the draw btw

Thanks
I listened to the Graffard interview, and there was nothing - as you would expect at this stage - to say she was definitely going for the Commonwealth. He just said that he felt she was more a Commonwealth than a Guineas filly. The Pouliches - round a bend - would be far more likely than Newmarket. |
By:
this has to be one of the worst meetings on itv, no marcel bussac, not showing 2 group1s after the arc, the abbye has to be the worse race ever to actually watch, and inbetween a meaningless race
By:
Not wildly impressive, but he probably won with something in hand. Bay City Roller has run really well, and a good chance he would have troubled the favourite on a softer surface.
By:
What would he have to do to impress you DD? Ended up around the outside and put the race to bed in a matter of strides with a ton left up his sleeve, not many more impressive than he imvho.
By:
Agree Cagliari. It takes a special horse to stay wide round there and make up 6 lengths in 2 furlongs. The rest are much of a muchness. I would still put Kalpana as second best based on the whole season but Bay City Roller and the rest of the first 6 are within 3lb of each other.
By:
You could have had 3 unopened pensions on that Cagliari you were big on it tbh…..
By:
Surely you are contradicting yourself Sageform? You say the horse was impressive, but then say the opposition were 'much of a muchness'. So he beat 'much of a muchness' by just over a length. We can debate how much he had left in the tank. Who knows? Many think he is better at a mile and a quarter so maybe not that much. He hardly came there swinging on the bridle like the 2yo winner. I don't want to appear to knock the horse, but we are not talking Sea Bird in terms of visual and quality of opposition.

daryz never looked like losing and was in control the whole time. He will win next year unless the classic generation produce something decent, which they haven't from the UK recently. Daryz, like his father, wins races by small margins but with clearly lots left in tank. Maltese cross should've gone leger.
