I've done some more digging into this. It seems that Firefox 157.0 includes changes to its audio-video synch logic so is likely to blame.
If you use Firefox for your BFL streams you might want to consider switching updates off before your PC updates too. |

For anyone else with this issue, this seems to have fixed it so far
![]() Because this started exactly with v157.0, it points to a glitch in how Firefox's rendering engine hooks into your system's hardware clock. You can permanently fix this loop with these verified steps: The Glitched Toggle Fix (Hardware Acceleration Refresh) Updates can cause Firefox's saved hardware configurations to become misaligned with your GPU driver. Toggling this off and back on forces Firefox to rewrite its hardware cache. 1. Click the Firefox menu button (three lines) and select Settings. 2. In the General panel, scroll down to the Performance section. 3. Uncheck Use recommended performance settings. 4. Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available. 5. Close Firefox completely, reopen it, and repeat the steps to turn Hardware Acceleration back ON. |

Unfortunately the problem reappeared today at Uttoxeter, with audio desyncing at the rate of 1-2 secs per minute. The above solution that worked yesterday did not work today.
Muting then unmuting the audio resets the sync, but I've not been able to find a proper solution yet. If you use Firefox and haven't yet updated to v157.0 - don't! ![]() |

Don't know about all that but after a slightly shaky start, first race, nothing like ATR yesterday, Uttoxeter was spot on for the remainder here.
