...G2 in Italy, instead of St. Simon Stakes on same weekend.

I mean, what's the point? No-one will be able to watch it and if he wins (which he won't, because he is too slow) who cares.

This horse has been very badly campaigned.

It is beginning to look as if Messers Buckley and Henderson may have something of an Ego to satisfy.

Henderson said -  "It's a Group 2, and with that amount of prize-money on offer, it's not going to be missed by many."

'The most talked-about horse in training saw his unbeaten run on the Flat come to an end in the Group 3 September Stakes'  - RP

Not sure 2 wins in a row constitute a 'run'. Come to think of it now sure they are even constitute a 'row'. SadSadSad

This horse is NOT a national treasure - David Jennings 'Greatness is all about a body of work - and Hurricane Fly puts Constitution Hill to shame on that score'

Connections are bottle merchants and horse should have been redirected to France to go hurdling. No way he would step at the hurdles at Auteuil. But he had been a pointer so some talent over larger obstacles would have stood him in good stead. Would not have to worry about fast ground either.

The horse was rated 101 on its last appearance. It will have to be a poor Group 2 for it to finish anywhere in the money.
