I like to back what I call plausible outsiders. Yesterday I had another look at the race and concluded it was one of those things when an outsider pops up for no apparent reason. Probably the same was true in August.

can't think of that happening before 40/1+ in a handicap then 40/1+ in the next race again a handicap
Had £10 win on it on exchange 65s: £10 4 places 5.78 : Won its previous race by 2L in same grade.
It was up 7lb but a young horse that showed improved form lto albeit in modest company.
