This is what the Tote's chat bot states: Good spot — that “v” on your bet slip means the selection has been voided. This can happen when the race conditions change (like the going being altered and the race being reordered). If the race is treated as a new event after the pool closes, selections from the original race may be voided and the stake returned. So in your case: The Placepot still runs Those two legs are just treated as void Your bet continues with the remaining races If a race is fully cancelled or abandoned, then the whole Placepot would be voided. Want me to explain how the Placepot settles when a couple of legs are voided?

the help staff on Tote web-site are saying the races are abandoned from tote-sote perspective even if they are not on the track. WTF?!!
Thats what we have been saying , since the first post.

Sorry, race 2 running up total same as race 1, as if race 1 been voided But race 2 obviously not voided otherwise we'd be down to race 6 by now with the updated totals

Glasgow, only because the in running totals haven't been updated If races 1 and 2 were voided for ppot purposes, then the running total should be on race 6, the 4.15 ...but it's still on race 2

Surprised, No mention of the Newbury Placepot, too ...
25 NON-Runners (virtually all called AFTER first race run)
'Fortunately' - 7 of those in the 10-runner 7th race, which became Win Only - But still 18 NON-Runners in the Placepot

well, assuming the Tote guidance is correct, I have the placepot - I think it will pay £30 to £40 .... and ironically I had NOTHING placed in leg 1 or 2 so this crazy rule really helped. My selection in the Gold cup was Fine Print that got up by a short head for 4th and carriied 10% of the units - there was only 4% between the first 3 home. Well - sometimes these things work in your favour - not often I hasten to add.
