This entity is getting utterly ridiculous and losing credibility and integrity. There've been so many farcical and unbelievable decisions made in the recent past. And, today IHRB has made another.
The IHRB has disqualified Mr Comer for not paying a fine of over euro840k, but the man is allowed to carry on sponsoring races in Ireland eg Irish St Leger. How can these two actions / statements be reconciled? A disqualified person cannot own, train or set foot on a racecourse in Ireland. However, the disqualified person can continue to sponsor races in Ireland.
I believe no other horseracing authorities would not have come to this unfathomable decision, period.
