Hope that they have banned trips to the Great North Run as well . I cannot remember a year where at least 1 runner unfortunatly dies .Two did not get home this year , not many years ago four died .I am a local to the run (about 100 yards ) from part of the course and it is brilliant for the area but the amount of fatalities over the years is unreal .

Very sad, but seems to reflect the fact that exercise can certainly be an addiction in some cases and people will literally die doing it if they push themselves too hard for their own bodies to take.
But, I doubt we will see any hand wringing and stopping of people trying to run/ride or weightlift themselves into heart failures from the powers... |

In terms of trip advisor - what the total F...!
Bunch of complete and utter (banned words), making their own moral judgements on what people should do! |

I once had to drive from Tipperary to Dublin go into my bank and fill out a form to pay 68 pounds to the BHA as my debit card was refused, but still worked in Tesco and other places.
My guess was the word "horseracing" upset some politically correct IT person with a top knot and an E-scooter. |
