Understand that Charbar. But I think its more than that for the likes of Thornton and Hammond. They go out of their way to make excuses for jockeys.

As I was saying charbar there's a difference between wanting to keep a cushy job and going out of your way to defend a jockey straight after a race, before anyone has said anything about it, and just saying nothing and not criticising.
