2022 they cancelled Saturday due to the death of the queen and raced on Sunday which included the st leger it’s been Sunday since personally I much prefer the Thursday to Sunday fixture .

Agree entirely with the original poster. Terrible reflection on the sport stretching the 'Festival' just for betting fodder. 7 Handicaps, including three over the minimum (one divided), and a 20 runner Group 3. Unheard of, and would tend to indicate none of them are much good.

We have had a 1000 Guineas winner who has been thoroughly exposed since; a much hyped 2000 Guineas winner who was probably retired at the right time; a shocking Derby winner; another hyped Oaks winner who flopped next time, and to round it off a terrible St Leger. All this running into what looks a very average Arc. No wonder the cheerleaders are going overboard about the 2yo's. They haven't failed yet. Same old story.

Do you prefer a bunch of "Superior" grades like the Irish Champions DD, lots of odds on in uncompetitive races?
