I've met him a good few times on course and at Selhurst Park as a fellow Palace supporter. He's a very friendly and pleasant person to chat with.

So what if he's not the best thing going in the racing punditry world.

It's not really that important in the greater scheme of things is it?

He used to run a pub near Faringdon, i had a few late nights in there, he's as genuine as you can get, doesn't take himself seriously ,likes p1ss taking and a really good bloke...all in my opinion, of course

Tbh i like the guy when he is acting normal and talking sense it's when he plays the buffoon that makes me cringe ffs.

You could go through these threads about him, and you will probably get the same people saying the same things.

The only thing I would add is that if you are going give someone the space to interview the public then they should have the skills to do it. He gave the distinct impression he didn't give two hoots about the answers to his questions. To be honest I would struggle to say what he does have the skills to do. He appears to be little more than a lightweight fool.
