group 2 may hill stakes and the appleby horse all the rage unbeaten 2 from 2 well entered up and yard won this with dancing flower a couple of years back but too short for me may well be too good but i prefer to play at bigger prices . sea of rain has plenty of exp and could go well . scommessa scicura consistent and useful .at the odds i like martinet who should relish this trip and lightly raced has a fair bit to find on the ratings but ran a decent race stepped up in class last time open to improvement 50/1 firms bigger on here looks tempting ,yard in good nick and no strangers to big race success ground should be fine . selection martinet 66/1 some firms ew win and 4 places on here good luck opinions encouraged.
Working in the garden, laid off just before the start as I heard the negatives without seeing as I walked in 2 mins before the off. That would have been a joy shouting it home. GUTTED.

Didn't have a bet, only just seen the thread. I have a couple of small bets on Senorita Bonita and Victorious for the 1,000 Guineas, and assuming they all turned up I wouldn't be too concerned about today's winner. The winner has now been parachuted in as favourite. Outside of her I thought it was a very weak Group 2, and consequently, the win was very much style over substance. Not sure what Lynch was on about as you don't need to be a genius to see that she hits the ground very hard. She has a win on good to firm, but that was a nothing race, and she started 1/5. It's pretty obvious that she improved for the softer surface today. She has found more than seven lengths with the second who is probably a 90 something horse. The dam was better with cut. I think she will need that cut to have a chance in a Guineas.
