on here st leger 1mile 7 furlongs, tradition says 1mile 6 , the same with cheltenham, champ hurdle on here 1mile 7 ffs its 2 miles , just irks me as a traditionlist

as long as the start & the inside rail is always in the same place, I've never understood why "about 2 miles" isn't sufficient
