First thing to say this is a really weak looking race. This horse seems to be priced up on the bare result last time, and not the race itself. For 95% of that race he travelled nicely and looked like going close to winning. He has only faded inside the final furlong. If he comes on for that then he should go close to placing today. The 20/1+ looks much too big, and realistically he should be half that price. Any rain would be a negative.

Thanks. Three each-ways landed, but it would have been nice - just for once - to have copped the lot, particularly having just watched Knights Charge getting done on the line. Seems the way of things at the moment.

It hurts when they nearly win at that kind of price if it’s a distant 3rd you win a few quid and crack on .

You won't be winning long term on each-ways alone. It doesn't need many, but you need the odd one to hit the jackpot. Today wasn't unlucky, it travelled well, but the winner just had that little bit more. The gutting bit was one of my each-ways (14/1) was without the favourite.
