In Betfred the other day, they had EVERY ONE of his rides as Fav, and silly short prices too. In their ironically labelled 'Best Odds Guaranteed' screen

Him and any Skelton horse are appalling value these days

The joy of racing should be about finding winners. It seems that has become impossible for so many. Finding losers isn't really a positive indicator of the sport, is it? As for those mentioned it isn't surprising given the constant media cheerleading. Barely a day goes by without them dredging something up. I think Skelton was headlining the Post yesterday, and as I write Loughnane is close to doing the same. I couldn't be bothered to read either.

You don't have to lay them, you can just back against them. I never back any Skelton or Murphy horse in any Bumper or Novice Hurdle race. Always go off way too short - especially the latter - which I don't get at all. Skelton yeah, Murphy nah!
