The incident, which occurred during the valuable Lanark Silver Bell card, has been reported by the track to the relevant authorities.
It occurred after Fallon had finished last of three in the third race, a 1m3f novice event, on Wathnan Racing's Flagbearer, who started the 9-2 outsider of the trio and was beaten two necks.
In a statement released on Monday, the course said: "Following the 5.40pm race at Hamilton Park on Friday, an incident occurred involving jockey Cieren Fallon and a racegoer. Following reports of unacceptable conduct, the individual involved was ejected from the racecourse by our security team.
"The matter has been referred to the relevant industry authorities and Hamilton Park will provide any information or assistance required, should it be requested as part of any formal inquiries."
It added: "Hamilton Park racecourse operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening or antisocial behaviour.
"We expect everyone attending the racecourse to be treated with respect, whether they are a racegoer, member of staff, official or racing participant. Abuse directed towards any individual on site is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
"The safety and wellbeing of our staff, participants, racegoers and the wider racing community remains our priority. Everyone attending Hamilton Park should be able to enjoy their day in a safe, welcoming and respectful environment, and we remain committed to ensuring those standards are upheld at all times."
Hamilton is celebrating 100 years of racing in 2026 and Friday night's card was a centenary celebration. The £103,000 Lanark Silver Bell Handicap was the richest race ever staged at the course and was part of a fixture that carried a total of £210,100 in prize-money.
Fallon, 27, is the son of six-time champion jockey Kieren Fallon and has been riding since 2018. He was champion apprentice the following year and again in 2020.
He has gone on to prove himself one of Britain's leading riders and finished fourth in the jockeys' championship last season. He is the same position this year, with 64 winners on the board.
His main employer is Flagbearer's trainer William Haggas, who gave him his biggest winner of this season, Lake Forest in the Group 2 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood last month.
Fallon declined to comment when approached by the Racing Post.
A BHA spokesman said: "We are aware of reports relating to an alleged incident at Hamilton on Friday, August 21. We do not comment on specifics relating any investigations or potential investigations."

An owner, David Reynolds, was ejected from Lingfield on Saturday after he was involved in an incident with Kieren Fallon.
Fallon was allegedly attacked by Reynolds when unsaddling from his mount, Elna Bright, following the sportingbet Supports Heros Handicap.
The five-year-old, trained by Brett Johnson, was struck into during the seven-furlong contest and finished last, having lost his action.
Reynolds is the joint-owner of 3-1 favourite The Scorching Wind, who finished second last, and third-placed Seek The Fair Land. The former is trained by Stuart Williams, while Seek The Fair Land is trained by Jim Boyle.
Fallon said: "Unfortunately, you are not able to retaliate, but I used to do some boxing in my younger days and I know how to defend myself. Luckily he has been escorted out and we can move on. He needs to take some boxing lessons, anyway."
Johnson and Elna Bright's owner, Peter Crate, were also said to have been involved in the incident, which has been referred to the British Horseracing Authority.
Crate said: "He came at Fallon like a whirlwind and struck him on the side of the face. I got in there with Brett Johnson and he caught me too, before the racecourse security stepped in. We were only looking at my horse, who has been badly struck into. You certainly don't expect to be attacked at the races."
A report from the weighing room after a stewards' inquiry read: "The stewards called before them Kieren Fallon, the rider of Elna Bright, accompanied by Brett Johnson, the trainer, Vanessa Buckman, the groom, and Peter Crate, the owner, in connection with an incident that took place in the unsaddling enclosure after the race.
"It had been alleged that David Reynolds, the part-owner of The Scorching Wind, had assaulted Fallon and Crate and had been involved in a fracas with Johnson.
"The stewards also called before them Stuart Williams, the trainer of The Scorching Wind, in order to positively identify the alleged assailant, and David Gardner, a security steward, as a witness.
"The stewards subsequently called before them Reynolds, who admitted to assaulting Fallon and being involved with a fracas with Crate and Johnson. Having heard evidence from the various parties, the stewards referred the matter to the British Horseracing Authority."
A colleague of Reynolds, who refused to be named, said: "I have known him for many years and it's totally out of character. He just said that the red mist suddenly descended." PA
