Good luck vonclausewitz, he's a very interesting runner on the Curragh form.
I suppose the perception is that he doesn't want it quick, but it could be he's just a powerful galloper in the Nayef mould who needs to be ridden forward, like he was at the Curragh, and the longer straight here could suit better than Ascot. It will be interesting to see how they ride Hawk Mountain, will be sacrificed like he was at Sandown, or will they be mindful that could play into the hands of Ombudsman too? |
