Congratulations no won sun
On reaching the milestone
Do you know one hung low?

No, seriously, happy birthday

Reminds of the quiz question. Who was the only 18 stone man to ride a Derby winner?
Lester Piggotts cellmate...

78 now and one of my biggest regrets is that I never saw him in action. Met him once, while I realise he was deaf he came across as a shy individual. Off now to celebrate this milestone....or is it a millstone. For all you youngsters, life is short and you really only realise it if you reach my age so enjoy every minute.

Welcome to the obsolete record club. At my local we have had the trombones, then Sunset Strip, now 78 rpm records. What next?

Met Lester at York when I was ten. About 1960. Asked for his autograph as he entered the parade ring. He was great with me , stopped and signed and wished me a good day.  Wish I had kept it.
