Has everything going for him Glasgow, improved 14lb over hurdles since last flat run, carries 1lb less than when winning last year, all points to a good run, however its Austrian Theory for me, overnight money for this one and the stable doesnt like leaving its money behind, drops to a class 5 handicap for the first time and his lowest ever mark, hinted at a return to form last time out and an Easterby on board to take 3lb off.

Covered my win stake with a bet 3 to place, the second favourite Super Hit doesnt look like the best of stayers trying this trip for the first time, I have a feeling he may try and nick the race from the front on this sharp course, fading late on ... hopefully.

Good Luck wont this track suit Super Hit? Going to back lay in running. I dont expect it to stay, the horse is a nutter depsite its form imo! Will always go off hard and short in the betting because James Owens stable is a gambling yard, whatever the grade by the way!

I dont mind these Amateur Jockeys' Handicaps personally. We know roughly how things will play out. Also backing Star Start EW in case it stays

Star Start is 4LB better with last years Wnr for a NCK defeat.
Wouldn't be a surprise if the form was reversed  this time around.

... As said,I  think the track will suit Super Hit, its just the extra 2 furlongs that puts me off, hoping Becky doesnt give it too much of a lead.
Stellar has shortened a little which can only be a good sign imo.

Think you have your weights wrong Penzance, Stellar gave it 7lb and beat it a neck, and is only giving it 6lb this time ??  Thats if I read it right.

He is great jock and worth a few pound against the others.

Super Hit might get away with it around this sharp track. Handled Epsom. Gone for the Win now not going to trade out ir.

Stellarmasterpiece in the 3 will still be a good day for me at 1.7

Cheers, pretty much ran as expected, apart from the second looking as if he was running loose for a while. Callan has a good record in these races and he actually wasnt beaten far after all his antics.
