I have called him a con man elsewhere but I think there was more to it than that.
If you've landed yourself a nice number at a very prestigious university with a bit of plagiarism here and a few tweaks of the CV there,a really rational con man would keep a fairly low profile. He wouldn't make up silly stories like running marathons with a broken leg,which were very likely to attract attention. |
