Horse was travelling the best. It looked like the winner a few furlongs out. It looked like the jockey pulled the horse up and let it get beat into 3rd. One of the more dodgy rides I've seen this year. Anyone else think the same?

Big drift and then a ride like that. No wonder people are stopping going to horse racing.

horse was clearly hanging badly to the right, so he couldnt push forward. he had to correct the horse by pulling on the left reign. have none of you ridden a horse before ?

The horse started to hang to the right after the jockey was pulling in up. The horse wanted to go past the winner about 4 furlongs out full of running, but the jockey wasn't having any of it

If he was badly hangimg usong whip in right hand to stop it but he didnt its like he knew he had to stop it at all costs faheys stable must have been on prescotts plus laid theirs, also look ay orr disinterest in gettimg second strikes me the laid in place too and late drift backs this up

The body language to me tells tale if horse badly hanging u wouldnt be sittimg like church mouse , its pure rancid and anyone with bit of integrity would say that too

THE MIDDLE DISTANCE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) The winner, WARDLAW (USA), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 26 June 2026, where the gelding finished last of three runners, beaten 75 lengths. It was noted that Sir Mark Prescott Bt representative’s explanation that WARDLAW (USA) had benefited from the first-time application of a hood for the improvement in form, the gelding was routine tested. The performance of THAT DARN CANTOR which finished fourth of five runners, beaten 18 lengths, was considered. It was noted that Ed Dunlop’s representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance on this occasion.
