Accidentally clicked on a betting tab on the Racing Post yesterday.
I now have a 'betslip' stuck on my RP for a horse in a race that has been and gone!
Signing out and reloading the Post makes no diference.
Anyone any idea of how I get rid of this please.
It just sits there as a minimised pop-up covering the race form lines...very very annoying!

if the odds have a black background, just click back on the odds.
And as the race has gone, you may have to bring the horse's profile up and see if the bet tab is still showing.
Failing that, then try deleting cookies, if you haven't already.

There's a red coloured, 'bin', whereby you can delete the selection.

I had the same problem yesterday, didn't notice the red bin, but eventually realised that clicking back on the odds on the racecard got rid of the tab.
Happened to me a week or so back, and took a while to notice the bin way to delete, which is quickest - annoying interface for sure, but at least it's a quick fix.

But the racecard had gone this morning and it still showed I could have a bet!

I had the same problem and didn't have the bin icon.
I didn't want to delete all my cookies only the RP ones
Click on the slide bars to the left of the address bar
Click site settings then you will see in the top row, delete data
It has worked for me
