I enjoyed this year's renewal. The best bit was Saffie chasing and spraying a bottle of champagne over Moore immediately after the prize ceremony. The girl caught up with him despite a head start by Moore in anticipation.
I believe his son rode a winner for Appleby at Newmarket too. His son's 1st I think. |

Hard to argue it's pointless. Big crowd having a great day, plenty of people enjoying it. Not a meeting for purists, obviously. We know that a team concept does not dovetail with horse racing, no matter how hard they try. But seems to me that there is a large catchment of people that do like it. Pretty harmless as a one off and doesn't infect RTV.

An annual event greatly appreciated by most horseracing fans, and even some purists. This event will live on - great fun for racegoers and families. It's very different to the Sunday Series sponsored by bookies that lacked the attraction to draw in families and international riders with mediocre runners.
The prize money at Shergar Cup is good too. |

if itv,oily bell,johnson on comms want a lg table of bet jocks from eng,wale,cotland,euro,ROW w=etc ,they can do it at RA,epsom,goodwood,york,n,market,etc,etc,theres a reaon they dont they no 95% of their viewers arnt interested,its like fantasy football, sky etc dont try to relaste the fantay football lg,pre game,post game when they cover football,after the races oilly,johnson,turner can do whatever they want to with the results if they wish,but in a period where jocks are getting bans for team riding to have teams in their own colours not the owner and johnson cdoing comms as though jock are breaking the rule and riding a a team,is absolute madness
