Ive been backing horses for over 30yrs, i can tell u this the game has never been as rancid as now , ive no doubt the bha is on cahoots with bookmaker fraternity to stop short priced favs for industry , they have to keep bookies sweet and this is what is happening , knight horse with oisin on board wouldnt run out of your way supposely well in at prohibitive odds , haggas horse at redcar not on job today plus the bizarre ride giving to hoseki at ascot , i ve noticed over last few months they like to get them beat early to put punter on run , its clear they want to rinse punter at weekend for the industry , so thread wisely and avoid prohobitive shorts odds at weekend , also the amount of 7 runner races on saturday is extraordi ary to destroy ew man and further their margins ,Its no coincidence , its clear as day what happening and id say that the bha are filth and orchestrating it , so reduce your stakes at weekend and more play a watching brief , haggas seemingly is a major player in stoppping prohibitive priced horses for them , knight another

yes rograin but mics dint back those favs, wernt short enough so it must be bent stans to reason !ones he backed were very short and got turned over ..............but how could they get beat ? all the tipsters tipped em they had the best form ,the write ups put in good words for em ..........all those tipsters and experts and mics cant be wrong .....
to be fair in 5 of the most high profile races on fri and sat, 3 appleby favs ridden by champion jock elect, and 2 fancied burke horses in haddock group races,you new wernt winning by the betting in last 20 mins before the race, market seems to no alot more these days than ever in the past,your everyday punter picking horses out fri night and betting sat morning has nah chance,ive no idea how much this type of punter contributes to the days punting takings
Fwilliams 1/5 reminded me of the story of a punter on the northern tracks who would turn up with wads of cash whenever there was a 1/5 fav. He did well until one meeting where there were 3 shorties, I think from memory 2 lost. If he ( and many other clueless wonders) had done his homework, whatever the circumstances 25% of all favs shorter than 1/2 WILL lose.

We had two characters who would turn up at our local bookies with carrier bags full of cash. One was the manager of girl pop group before they became famous. He would turn up with a heavy for protection. Dont remember him needing it on the way out!. The other was an Irishman who went on to buy 3 horses at keeneland without paying for them. He had no need for protection, even had a name to match!
