If it is true that "most of these big so called names don’t know how to ride the course" (per formoftheace) then surely the Shergar Cup should be a punting (or laying) paradise.
It's a lot of handicaps with more than enough prize money to ensure they're all in it for the right reasons. |

The worst part of the Shergar Cup is how the Racing Post has gone completely OTT about it for the past few days.
Cheltenham & Royal Ascot don't depend on Blue, Boyzlife, B*Witched and Marvin Humes to get people through the doors. As an aside, has it ever been proved that concert-goers are converted to racing fans? |
