It will probably be free on Sunday but it is not very interesting. There's a nice shout out to former Racing Post sports editor Derek McGovern who lost out to Bruce Millington for the job when the papers were merged, but that's about it.

There didn't used to be much sports betting, and now there's a lot is about the gist of it.

Who was the guy that used to fill a page on an upcoming football match only to end it with advice - no bet.?

Was mad on corners  stats.

Kevin Pullein. Articles should've had a spoiler alert at the top to save wasting your time.

Kevin Pullein. A total waste of time. A total waste of pages. After writing for an eternity we were finally greeted with... advice.. "no bet". Think the guy risked about 2 bets a year.

Anyone reading football articles already has far too much time on their hands.

He's gone a long time. I would guess 8 or so years ago.

There's a new Chris Cook series, the fundamentals of betting, starting tomorrow so maybe that will be the Sunday freebie instead of Millington's.
