Centred around Santa Anita with all the associated characters (Jockeys, Trainers, Work Riders, Owners, Punters, Criminals). Trainer pulls off a touch in the 1st episode and the racing scenes are best I've seen in any drama/film. Top cast and very well filmed. Scenes with the punters also top draw. On HBO max, strongly recommend.

I agree Joe, shame though that it quite rightly had to be cancelled as three horses came to grief during the filming of the series

Remember this from a few years ago but never finished it. Will have to rematch as seemed quite a decent watch
