A brilliant win yesterday from a small Scottish yard. Congratulations to all at Katie Scott Racing, fantastic to see them get such great coverage on tv and social media. Well deserved for such a hard working yard.

So nearly a Naana Goodwood double, with Naana's Sparkle going close in the C2 handicap on Tuesday.
Both fillies previously trained by Alice Haynes, who clearly did a good job nurturing both, for other yards to build on. |

Yes George they were 2 well bought fillies. It's a shame what happened to her.
The filly has thrived at Katie's, hopefully she goes on to get some black type. |

n1, pretty interesting pickup from Alice Haynes. I thought Alice Haynes was a decent handler (aside from the finance), but it's not the only one to have progressed significantly after the dispersal.

Got involved with her own racing syndicate horse Slainte Mhath a few years back. She won 5 times for us before an injury curtailed her Career.She is in foal. Katie gave us Falaise Blanc (runs at Musselburgh tonight) as a stop gap till a 2 year old project was ready. Unfortunately she was no good but Falaise Blanc, although a bit of a slow boat has given us loads of race and fun days.
Her fees are on the cheaper side and we have loads of stable visits and regular up dates and videos on WhatsApp |

If you asked Joe Public those who enjoy racing luna would have been horse of the season but those who vote for these sort of things probably wouldn’t have known about her.

Yeah everything revolves around the group one winners, with little time given to handicap winners.
I don't know how they do it, she will drive up from goodwood, leaving early this morning, unload then load up the 3 for Musselburgh tonight. Still over seeing the other horses in the yard, with regards work etc helped by a great team. Be lucky to be home and horses settled for 11.00. Then back up at 5 for morning feed etc I'm amazed what they can do in a day |

I once did Yarmouth to ffos las an horrendous journey hardly any motorway,but I didn’t have racehorses with me.
Many in the training game and the riders work very very hard and at unsociable hours and then get a right coating on chat rooms if they don’t do everything right. |
