Has won stateside form from his German Guineas has been franked with Burkes Shayem and he don’t pull like Talk of does.

Are there any more prestigious and important races left? Any that could be fact-enhancing for the autumn and season beyond? York is next month with 2 key races ie Juddmonte International and the Yorkshire Oaks. Then, The ARC and Champions Day.

Has won stateside form from his German Guineas has been franked with Burkes Shayem and he don’t pull like Talk of does. Sorry mate, the way he pulls really does him no favours. |
|
By:
How bad a result was that?
|
|
By:
Earlier in the year Godolphin had the comment that he stays 7f, Prix La Forret would suit him, where they go a mad pace and let him lose.
|
|
By:
Bookmakers saw that coming, I thought it would be Sabre.

Terrible ride lads but we know he's a good thing next time out with a good ride.

Leano stay away from it mate, pulls to hard. Was said to be lit up at Ascot from the bulking at the beginning but it had no reason to pull today.
If it had raced where the winner was there’s no saying that it’d of finished off his race. Ignore the Scuds too who never have anything say beforehand. |
|
By:
Yeah to be honest. You're probably right. Not a horse to trust. Appreciate it. How's your day been ?

Been cool thanks, not been watching really, there’s been 3 sessions of boxing from the Commonwealth games so been busy with that.
Hope your has been good despite that one race. Earlier in the year I’d posted this on the 2000 guineas thread, Delashay • April 20, 2026 12:15 PM BST Action was beaten 1L 1/2 in the Royal Lodge half a length behind Humidity. Title Role didn’t look great in the Greenham and it looks like Godolphin might doubt the effectiveness of Talk Of New York over a mile? From Godolphin Fourth foal; half-brother to winners Star Guest (Listed-placed 6f turf/1m AW; RPR 103) and Great Deed (UAE 1m dirt); dam 7f-9.5f winner (inc AW/Group 2; 119), half-sister to Listed winners Magnetic Charm (1m) and Show Day (1m1f); won two of his three starts, most recently a 7f conditions event at Newmarket in April 2026; probably stays a mile but effective at 7f; handles an AW surface and good ground; has been tried in a hood. Buick’s been hammered for his ride but maybe they still think the same despite wining well over the distance at Sandown? Hence it was held up. Good luck Leano. |

Talk of NeYork was beaten 1L by title Role second time out in Dubai
“Dwelt start, pulled hard early, raced in last, still plenty to do” Race comments from SJP ”Pulled hard early, short of room soon after start, soon raced in third in touch with leaders, headway and pressed leaders 2f out, went second over 1f out, lost second then no extra final 110yds” Was beaten 7 1/2F out in that race. Shayem was beaten 1L 1/4 by Title Role in the German 2000 Guineas. There’s half a length between them today. |

The books took a liberty because of him finishing so close to Bow who everyone is applauding but that form don’t look so shat hot now.
Would Talk OF place in a Hong Kong Mile? ![]() |
