Lochy, you look ridiculous every time you doubt Blooms wealth.

I see you’re avoiding an easy question on your thread btw.

LOL - strewarts  - good shout, but showing your age, there.  Happy

John Bloom(stein) may well have been his similarly Jewish Uncle, though - Given their attitude to accumulating wealth.

Reading Wikipedia - That John Bloom was some entrepreneurial grafter, especially given the challenges of mass selling to the public in those years, as opposed to instant ordering 'OnLine' nowadays.

I suppose the current originator and establisher of White Goods supplier AO falls into the same category - albeit with the help of manufacturer discounts - which John Bloom did not have, and John Bloom shook the manufacturers to the core by selling, originally foreign made, then home produced, washing machines at way below the big boys 'cartel agreed' (now an illegal practice) prices of the likes of Hoover and Hotpoint.

Perhaps one of John Bloom's most outrageous ventures was to sell £59 all-in package holidays to Bulgaria - after he had arranged a deal with that country's communist government. Happy

Personally I think Tony Bloom would have binned McInnes pretty early in the season..I don't think he'd have trusted him to sign wisely with his money..McInnes is a serial loser as Rangers will find out..the only reason it was so close last year is that the standard of Scottish football is dropping season on season..not that shouty Kenny Macintyre and the rest of the bbc sport sound will stop talking it up...it's absolute sh!te!

Chelsea have just bought our man Maxence Lacroix for £52 bars.

That's all we are, a selling club with another tough season ahead and with a very thin squad. I'm looking at the relegation odds and it's no surprise to see fairly low odds with the firms and on here.

The players have to be greedy mugs to go there Slippy, as it means they’ll be on the bench or sent out on loan.
