Can someone explain to me why this trainer has deteriorated so badly , hos farh filly in first on its second run was not off a jot under eaves , he basically ran this horse on firmish ground knowing it needs gove to fool people and eaves with his pretend whips to fool , i just think of ryan ran his horses on merit, he wouldnt have apalling strike rate he has , if tony carrol had his horses he would farm races with high strike rate , u have to wonder the staff ryan uses too , they must not be up to much

The good trainers kmow how the horse will run, with this character its pot luck no consistency no control just like playing roulette machine , the great gatsby put him him in limelightfor bit but he seems lost now in wilderness , my advice to him would be to replace his staff and try to change things , if he doesnt i cant see him in game for foreseeable future

Speaking of trainers who might not be operating at the level they once were, what has happened to Archie Watson?

Might just be his first turf runner this year to run to a triple-digit RPR.

His only one to do so far this year, before today, was Albasheer when finishing second (RPR of 100) at Newcastle in April.

Well done to Archie, and to you too 1st time poster, as you only had to wait three days to bring this thread back up!

Exactly lead on, proving once again that the Betfair 'curse' system is the holy grail of profitable systems Wink

Indeed, George. You've made me have a bit on Dickensian -3.35 Goodwood- at 50s and I'll have a bit of 4 places later.
Didn't get much room lto and finished with running left. It doesn't have too much to find on the ratings.

Good luck saddo.

I'll not make an attempt at a Dickensian-pun, like the layers will be having gruel for supper tonight if that one obliges Wink
